Berry Blossom Montessori is intentionally small and home-based. With a maximum of 6 children total, every child is truly known, supported, and guided as they develop independence, concentration, and confidence in a calm, family-style environment.

In Montessori, the room itself does much of the teaching. Every shelf sits at child height, every material has one clear place, and everything a child needs to begin work on their own is already within reach. This is our home classroom in Northeast Portland.

We provide a simple, child-friendly lunch each week, along with a morning and afternoon snack. Meals include familiar foods, fruits, vegetables, and milk. Toddlers learn self-feeding, while older children begin to serve themselves and help set the table — supporting fine motor skills and independence.

I believe children are capable, independent individuals who thrive when given meaningful opportunities to take part in everyday life. Watching my own son grow in confidence through practical life experiences inspired me to create Berry Blossom Montessori.

Montessori lets children learn at their own pace, guided by curiosity and supported by hands-on materials. At Berry Blossom, that happens in an intentionally small, calm community where every child is known.
Simple, All-Inclusive Tuition
Simple monthly tuition includes full-day care, lunch, and two daily snacks. Enrollment is limited to 6 children total and intentionally small — and families joining us now receive $500 off every month of their first year.
Families new to Berry Blossom Montessori pay $1,000 per month for their first full year — a savings of $6,000 across the twelve months.
Available to newly enrolling families. Tuition returns to the standard $1,500 per month after the first 12 months of enrollment.
Berry Blossom Montessori is a warm, in-home Montessori-inspired program where children learn independence, confidence, and early academics through real-life experiences in a calm, intentional environment.
