Our Daily Rhythm

From soft morning arrivals to a gentle wind-down at pickup, each day follows a predictable, child-honoring rhythm — 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

8:00 – 8:30

Drop-Off + Outdoor Play

  • Soft arrival and gentle goodbyes
  • Outdoor play to start the day with fresh air and movement
  • Children settle in at their own pace
8:30 – 11:30

Morning Work Cycle (Deep Focus Time)

  • Uninterrupted Montessori work period
  • Continental breakfast available (rolling table, children eat as they choose)
  • 1:1 or small group lessons
  • Teacher observations + guided work
11:30 – 11:45

Short Gathering

  • Whole-group circle time
  • Songs, stories, and shared reflection
  • Grace & courtesy practice
11:45 – 12:30

Outdoor Play

  • Gross motor play
  • Nature exploration
  • Free movement + social play
12:30 – 1:00

Lunch

  • Lunch brought from home
  • Self-serving, grace & courtesy practice
  • Cleanup participation
1:00 – 3:00

Nap / Rest Time

  • Nap mats or cots
  • Quiet rest option for non-nappers (books, quiet work time)
3:00 – 3:30

Afternoon Snack

  • Self-serve snack as children wake up
  • Building their own plates as a practical life skill
  • Calm, social table time together
3:30 – 4:30

Outdoor Play + Pick-Up Window

  • Outdoor free play as the day winds down
  • Rolling pick-up as families arrive
  • Gentle, unhurried goodbyes
